"Incredible sausage and fermented flavors of potato salad. Kasslerplanne and sauerkraut was awesome with bread. My girlfriend pet the cat to the extent that we stayed past closing time. Other customers bought us a shot of their home grown pear liquor. Then the owner bought us a shot of the herbal liquor. Then served us incredible desserts. Incredible experience. Take the time to come enjoy here."

"Excellent location for runaway from much busier Konigstein. Family run bierhaus with small farm. Good local cold cuts. Nice outside seating area"

"Only commenting on the spot and its atmosphere as we weren't honoured to try their food nor get served. We stopped by it around 2.30pm today, but there were no empty spots. Leaving a 5 star review as everyone seemed so welcoming there plus customers seemed extremely happy shame we didn't get to try it, but who knows maybe one day. Good luck to the owners! Great idea and looks fab!"

"A personal experience with a vintage touch. This is a small restaurant in a former stable that has been rebuilt carefully, preserving and showcasing the historical structure. The owners are very friendly and authentic. The place is surrounded by farmland where chickens, geese, sheep and ponies roam. The food was delicious. The choice is limited, but that didn't take away from the experience."

"At the recommendation of a local we stopped for lunch. The place is rustic but full of charm. The artisanal goat cheese salad with local greens was simple yet elegant and fantastically delicious. The cheese grilled to carmelized perfection on one side. The salad greens tasting of late summer with an unexpected bite of fresh mint. The homemade bratwurst was juicy and was eaten too quickly! All enjoyed while overlooking apple trees, chickens and geese waddling on the pasture leading to the Elbe. We lingered for another round of cold beers, reluctant to leave that idyllic place."

"We visited this facility today with my husband and our two dogs. I was very satisfied. My goulash was very good, the meat was delicious and I would order it again. The atmosphere is cool and homely. The service was very nice. We definitely recommend it."

"What a lovely place this is. As I was residing on the opposite site of the Elbe, it was easily accessible for me (or by ferry from Königstein). The goulash was outstanding. You could tell the ingredients used were fresh (and even local I believe). It had a very charming ambiance and you could tell the locals also really liked to come by."
